Big Brothers Big Sisters Announces Promotion of Amanda Dunn to Chief Advancement Officer

Harrisburg, PA – January 20, 2026 — Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central Pennsylvania (BBBS of SouthCentral PA) is proud to announce the promotion of Amanda Dunn to Chief Advancement Officer, recognizing her exceptional leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and proven track record of driving measurable

growth and impact across the organization.

Dunn brings executive-level leadership to this role, having served as Vice President of Programs for over four years, where she guided the agency through one of the most significant periods of expansion in its nearly 45-year history. During her tenure, BBBS of South-Central PA experienced substantial program growth, strengthened quality and outcomes, and expanded access to mentoring opportunities across its seven-county

footprint.

Throughout her leadership journey with the organization, Dunn has demonstrated a rare ability to align mission, strategy, and resources. During her time serving in development leadership, the agency achieved a 165% increase in youth served, reflecting her ability to translate funding, partnerships, and community engagement into real-world impact for young people and families.

As Vice President of Programs, Dunn oversaw the expansion and enhancement of signature initiatives including Beyond School Walls, High School Bigs Leadership Programs, community-based mentoring, and youth leadership and workforce-readiness efforts. Under her direction, the agency reached its highest service levels in more than a decade while maintaining strong program quality, outcomes, and staff support.

In her new role as Chief Advancement Officer, Dunn will oversee fundraising, donor engagement, corporate and foundation partnerships, and long-term advancement strategy. This role was intentionally created to reflect the organization’s continued growth and its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and communitydriven impact.

By leveraging her deep programmatic expertise, Dunn will ensure that advancement efforts remain tightly aligned with outcomes, connecting supporters directly to the lives and futures they help shape.
