Scholarship
APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 31, 2026
Graduating high school seniors in our programs (both Bigs and Littles) are invited to apply for higher education scholarships.
There are five opportunities to receive a scholarship:
D&H Cares will provide a onetime scholarship contribution of $1,000 toward the financial needs of a graduating Big or Little.
The Hall Foundation will provide a $1,000 scholarship both to a male and female graduating Big or Little.
Stonebridge Financial Group will award two graduating Bigs or Littles with a $1,000 scholarship each.
The Junior League of Harrisburg will provide a $1,5000 scholarship to a female Little attending college in the fall.
The Dr. Elliot Riegler Scholarship is a onetime contribution of $1,000 toward a Little’s first year’s financial needs for continuing education. Dr. Riegler was a long-term member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA Governing Board. He was a strong believer in the value of the mentoring process and the importance of education. Upon his death, a scholarship was arranged in his memory. The scholarship is to assist a deserving Little that wishes to pursue additional education after high school.
