At Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA, we create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
We unite young people (Littles) with caring, positive adult role models (Bigs) in professionally supported mentoring friendships.
Giving Spree
Held on November 5, the Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree is Adams County's annual day of giving, bringing the community together at one location to learn about local nonprofits and providing them with vital financial support.
The Giving Spree makes charitable giving simple and impactful. Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA is one of over 100 nonprofits participating in this fundraising day. Support our youth mentorship programs in Adams County with a gift during this meaningful event.
*Participants are asked to fundraise a minimum $1,000 prior to rappel.
Big Futures Fair
Our Big Futures Fair, in partnership with the Zeta Theta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is Friday, November 13. This event will bring high school students from across our region together at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus to explore college, career and workforce opportunities while connecting with people and organizations who can help them think about what comes next. Why Mentoring Matters
Youth come from all walks of life. For many, that walk includes adversity and difficult circumstances that no child should have to face alone. Little gestures – a small investment of time or a donation to sponsor a match – can change the trajectory of a child’s life.
