Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA Hosts Lancaster Back-to-School Bash to Support More Than 135 Youth

LANCASTER, Pa. (August 5, 2026) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA (BBBSSCPA) welcomed more than 135 Lancaster County youth to its annual Lancaster Back-to-School Bash, a community celebration designed to help students start the new school year with the supplies, resources, and support they need to succeed.

Held at Raymour & Flanigan at Park City Center, the Back-to-School Bash brought together local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to provide school supplies, educational resources, family services, children's activities, and opportunities for families to connect before the first day of school.

"We know that preparing for a new school year can place a financial strain on many families," said Ally Krull, Director of Development for Lancaster County at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA. "The Lancaster Back-to-School Bash is about more than school supplies. It's about making sure every child walks into the classroom feeling confident, supported, and ready to succeed while connecting families with valuable resources that strengthen our community throughout the year."
